Projects

Here's just a small sampling of the natural treasures we've helped preserve over the years.

Lo’i kalo

Kalo is the staple food for native Hawaiians and a critical role model for the stability of the lahui. We can connect you with a native Hawaiian kalo farmer and you can help weed lo’i and learn about this wonderful plant.

Water conservation

Lend a helping had to remove invasive species by joining a local nonprofit organization. Learn who the community is behind the entertainment by getting involved and creating life long improvements.

Habitat restoration

Join a local fishpond and help stack rocks, ride a canoe or use a standup paddle board to explore the native fishponds. This helps combat climate change and contributes to place based food sources.
